Ways to watch:

As the voyage of the mighty Bismarck begins First Mate John Doyle and Captain Tim Flannery explore the tributaries of the Murray Darling basin in Southern Queensland. They make a futile attempt to launch the Bismarck in a river of sand before heading further south and encountering the overwhelming scale of the cotton industry around St George. Motoring across the border they meet floodplain graziers angry at the lack of water coming from upstream. Finally, after travelling to Brewarrina and seeing its ancient Aboriginal fish traps they reach Bourke, the biggest town on the Darling. There they encounter a mixture of intriguing and under whelming history.
