Back in 2001 the names Peter Falconio and Joanne Lees were all over the news.
The British backpackers were attacked in the Australian outback. Joanne escaped, but Peter could not. His body has never been found.
After a 16-month manhunt a man named Bradley John Murdoch was arrested and later convicted of Peter’s murder, but there have always been question marks over whether police had the right man.
